Lee Alex Design Group

We are proud to introduce… Lee Alex Design Group! For years we’ve been including refurbished, up-cycled, and handcrafted work of ours amongst the amazing vintage selections. Previously, these pieces just popped up here and there, courtesy of spontaneous creativity and stumbling across the right elements. However, recently we have noticed a real demand for these one-of-a-kind, custom pieces and we are only too happy to oblige. Now that we’ve made Lee Alex Design Group official, we’re having a great time salvaging materials and flexing our creative muscles (not to mention our actual muscles!) to construct and provide unique furniture for your home.

Our current focus is on industrial, machine-age inspired items using metal and salvaged wood. This furniture is ideal for the modern Colorado home. It offers the warmth and character of antique hardwoods, with the cool design elements of steel and chrome. With benches, tables, consoles and more, we are staying true to the vintage-modern, economical and eco-friendly style you expect from us, while having fun putting our own twist on these classic essentials. Check out just a few of the recent creations from Lee Alex Design Group.

(Some items are sold, but we are always producing more!)

One of our beam benches with chrome legs. It looks fantastic in this “mid-mod meets urban” style living room.

A sampling of our work: hairpin beam bench/coffee table, side table with antique iron base, electric green log side tables, and A-frame wood and steel display shelf.

Our most popular pieces are our benches. These ones feature sturdy steel frame legs. Other versions have featured different size beams, chrome or hairpin legs, and styles that easily work as a coffee table, as well as a bench. Perfect for impromptu seating- and they hold up to almost anything!

A pair of streamline side tables and the ever-popular console height table. This console would work in an entry hall, behind a sofa, or to hold your flatscreen. It could even be a bar- very cool!

A couple of pieces using salvaged bases. The top item is a footstool (or possible low, small bench) using a tanker style base. The bottom console table uses a painted black tulip table base for that blend of mid-century and rustic.

New Lee Alex Design Group items are rolling out weekly, along with our great mid-century finds. Come and see what suits your style!
